Raisin Bran Muffins

The taste of raisin bran cereal in the texture of a muffin.
4 cups raisin bran cereal
1.5 cup milk
0.25 cup oil
0.25 cup yogurt
0.5 cup applesauce
2 eggs
0.5 cup raisins (optional)
1 cup ap flour
0.75 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tap salt
medium sized bowl
spatula/anything you like to stir within
whisk
Whisk milk, oil, yogurt, apple sauce
Add cereal and mix to fully coat/mostly submerge
Let sit for 20 minutes
(collect the other ingredients and tools. Put on good music)
Preheat oven 400F
Grease 12 cup muffin tin
Fully mix in eggs
Mix in raisins
**Gently sprinkle flours across the top of batter making a dry layer
then sprinkle baking soda and salt over the flours
Fold ingredients together completely, until just combined
Distribute between muffin cups with a ice cream scoop to get good tops
Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of the batter
Bake for 20 minutes, until a tester comes out clean
Cool in pan for 10 minutes than remove and let cool completely
**You can do this in a separate bowl then dump it in, but then you have another bowl to wash
